What's New: Events & Festivals

Stage RIGHT: Benefit for Lincoln High Theatre
First Friday, November 1st

All day:
10% of the day's sales will be donated to Lincoln High School Theatre.

5:30pm-8:00pm: We'll have a troupe of costumed actors in the bookstore. Come meet these great kids ~ and help us raise money for costumes & production costs!


LHS values giving all students opportunities to experience the excitement of working in a theatre and creating stage performances.

Kids get to learn about acting, costuming & makeup, lighting & sound, and set design.
 
Instructors make a special effort to include anyone willing to work hard, which is one of the things that makes Lincoln High Theatre dear to our hearts.

Downtown's premier shopping event is in its 12th year! The boutiques of Downtown Lincoln will be lit up for the season & offering deals on Books, Home Decor, Jewelry, Clothing, Art Supplies, and more ~ along with food, drink & merriment!

We'll be decorated for the holiday season ~ and serving hot cider and Cinnamon's homemade gingerbread & sugar cookies.

Our 2020 "Cats, Books, Life is Good" calendars will be available for sale - and we'll have Gift Certificates & Books for everyone on your list.

Cinnamon, Katherine & Petra will be on hand to make recommendations and help you find treasures!
(Our Maggie will be getting her wisdom teeth out during her break from her UNL classes. We'll be wishing her well!)

Our Gift Certificates are available for any amount, never expire and are good on all books & merchandise in our store. All Gift Certificates are written by hand. Gift Certificates of $25 or higher value come in a beautiful sleeve of handmade paper embedded with wildflower seeds, which can be planted in a sunny spot.
