What's New: Events & Festivals

Book Signing: Paul Baker, author of Spirit Wind
Sunday, May 20th 1:30pm - 3:00pm

Spirit Wind is a tightly woven novel of self-exploration, Native American history and mythology - and great, unforgettable romance. Filled with richly drawn characters in a beautiful landscape that stretches from the Navajo Nation to the San Francisco Bay Area, Spirit Wind is a powerful and moving story.

In the Chuska Mountains of the Navajo Nation, a solitary man   awakes from a nightmare. Atlee Young, a Navajo orphaned at the age of four and raised by Mormon foster parents, relives his life, from meeting his wife, Linda, through his struggles to find the Indian in himself, to the ultimate separation from his family. On a bus traveling through the night, Linda's daughter, Melissa, flees her home to join him. Having dropped out of UC-Berkeley, she attempts to reunite her family and to discover the reasons it fell apart. When they come together, their lives will change forever.
