Mardi Gras Treats!
Tuesday, February 25th
10am - 6pm

Join us for mini chocolate eclairs and cream puffs in celebration of Fat Tuesday!

We filled up our New Arrivals case over the weekend with all kinds of interesting things. Enjoy a sweet treat while you browse.

We're counting down to Spring, folks.
In the meantime, we'll enjoy cozying up
with stacks of great books!

Calendar
February
Tues 2/25 Mardi Gras
10am-6pm
Come in for treats!

March
Fri 3/6: First Friday ~ Art by Arden Ellen Nixon
5:30pm-7:30pm
Arden does all of the watercolor art for our ads, postcards, buttons ~ and the design for our front stained glass window. She'll be in the shop this evening with a great selection of work for sale. For a look at her style: Arden's Miscellany

April
Fri 4/3: First Friday ~ Stage RIGHT!
Benefit for Lincoln High School Theatre
5:30pm-8:00pm
Costumed actors will be in our shop this evening - and we'll be donating 10% of all day's sales to LHS Theatre.
This year is our 10th Anniversary of this event and we'll be raffling off a Folio Society Shakespeare Play. Tickets will start selling in March.

April
TBA: Where's Charlie Party
We're having a blast with the "Where's Charlie" photos we've been posting to Facebook. We've decided to expand that idea into a little community project!
We're going to print the photos & create little "Where's Charlie: I Spy" books.
At some point, we'll invite folks for an after-work Book Assembly party.
It'll be a strictly low-tech, amateur effort.
Sort of a macaroni-necklace kind of thing...

But - we'll have fun together - and during Children's Book Week, in May, we'll sell these little books and give the proceeds to Head Start. (The macaroni necklaces are often worth more to us than precious jewels, we think.) We'll keep you posted!

Fri 4/17 & Sat 4/18: ConStellation
Science Fiction Sale
10am-6pm, both days
SF Convention ConStellation is 4/17-4/19 at the Cornhusker Marriot, a couple blocks away. Find out more and register for the Con here!

In celebration, we'll have a table of SFF SALE BOOKS.

Our Gift Certificates are available for any amount, never expire and are good on all books & merchandise in our store. All Gift Certificates are written by hand. Gift Certificates of $25 or higher value come in a beautiful sleeve of handmade paper embedded with wildflower seeds, which can be planted in a sunny spot.
